Lost Eden Alien Missions …

kymmie Just having returned to the game for Lost Eden, I was anxious to try out one of the new alien missions.  So Kyan, Gellenar and myself teamed up and went down to the alien playfield.

Kind of getting to the alien missions is a bit of a pain.  But it’s easy if you know how:  1.) take the whompa to ICC and then run out of the tunnel to the Unicorn landing pad (straight ahead); and 2.) wait for the ship to arrive to transport you there.  Once you’re there, just follow the path down to an area with shops and a bar.  You can get missions here.

So after we got our mission, we went to the playfield.  The missions are kind of strange looking - they have preserved that ‘Alien Ship’ feel from AI, so it looks pretty cool.

Here we are after we zone in:

After encountering several somewhat easy aliens, it gets harder.  Don’t let the color con-bar fool you.  Green doesnt always mean easy.  In fact, some of the mobs are quite difficult despite being green (and they REALLY hated Novo hehe).  I didn’t get too many screenies because the action was a little intense at times.  Some of the mobs (the Cha aliens in particular) are quite a pain in the butt - can’t root or mez them and they were beating poor Novo like she was a red-headed step child.  Here’s me and Novo fighting some goofy alien:

The hard part was getting multiple aliens together in the same room.  Fortunately, we pulled them separately, kicked their smarmy alien behinds, and got to the boss room.  Turns out our boss was the Master of Time and Space … err well he was big and mean:

Mean Boss

Turns out this is the hardest boss.  After warping Kyan to him (and subsequently beating the stuffing out of him, Mr. Boss decided to send this nice little round floating ball to me and Novo.  “Oh, a nice Automated Defense System.  How nice.  I wonder if it will be my friend?” I thought.

owwie

Um, so owwww.  Getting hit for 18K+ will definitely leave a mark.  But Novo got the last word, as you can see her reflect shield pounded that boss with 10 points!!!

All in all we had a blast.  These missions give xp, axp, vp and tokens!  And, despite not being able to complete the mission, I still got 3 alien levels (previously I had none).

So if you haven’t tried these out yet, I would highly recommend it!
